​Northland Farm raises Rhode Island Red hens for their egg production. Rhode Island Red hens produce medium brown eggs. Their production is entirely dependent upon the happiness of the birds. Rhode Island Reds will decrease or cease egg production if they are cramped or unhappy. We currently have 19 chickens and no roosters in our flock. Northland Farm has free range chickens that are supplemented with fruits and vegetables. Our poultry are not organic which allows us to treat our birds with medication if they become ill. If our birds require medical care, they recieve it, are separated from the flock, and eggs are withheld to ensure safety of consumers.

Egg Sales:

Our eggs are available for purchase by the dozen. Eggs are $4.00 per dozen with carton or $3.50 per dozen for returning customers who reuse the original Northland Farm egg carton.
